• Sleeps with the spool over her head like a hat and refuses to explain
• Keeps a running tally of every wire ever severed in her presence
• Only truly relaxes when both springs are equally warm

Origin

Allied arrived pre-tensioned. The springs were already hooked into the pliers when we found her, as if someone had built her, admired her, and then quietly put her back on the shelf.

She has never volunteered a name of her own. Allied is what the spool says, and Allied is what she answers to.
